Pootatuck River Watershed Management Plan – Livable Community Initiative

To all of you who are interested and involved in environmental issues and the preservation of our natural environment: please attend a meeting presenting the Pootatuck River Watershed Management Plan (PRWMP).   It is important to be part of this audience for two reasons:

1. gaining appreciation for the work being done to protect our local environment,
2. supporting the efforts of The Pootatuck Watershed Association as they urge the town to consider the PRWMP as the Plan on Conservation and Development (POCD) is completed.

Both of these plans echo much of what the Livable Community Initiative advocates and an alignment of these efforts improves the livability of our town for all residents.
