Beginning in June 2024, FONS will conduct monthly Roundtable meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 3:30 pm at the Senior Center. These meetings are open to all, with the purpose of sharing information and learning about issues important to seniors in Newtown. Much discussion will take place, which may result in recommendations for new programs/services or changes/improvements to existing programs/services. Please join us. A typical 90-minute session will start with welcome and introductions, updates from last Roundtable, if any. The day’s topic will be addressed with discussion questions, then table discussions, and general group discussions. Wrap-up will include To Dos and Topics for next Roundtable. Highlights will be shared with the FONS Board and other entities.
