Free Income Tax Help – The C.H. Booth Library is pleased to announce FREE income tax assistance, provided through a partnership between the AARP Foundation and the IRS. Don’t miss this opportunity to receive expert help with your taxes! Registration is required – click here.

Available on Thursdays from February 6 until April 10, 2025.

Please bring with you to the appointment:

  • Photo Id or other type of Identification
  • Social Security Card and Statement (SSA 1099)
  • A copy of your 2023 tax return and/or last year’s AARP envelope
  • All tax forms received for tax year 2024 (W-2, 1095, 1099)
  • End of year investment tax statements (INT, DIV, Stocks, Bonds)
  • List of Itemized Deductions (Medical, Donations, Taxes)
  • Any other tax documents you might have
  • IRS PIN if issued, Cancelled Check for Direct DepositNo Tax Session if the Newtown schools are closed due to weather.
