Friends of Newtown Seniors proposes that Newtown join the Age Friendly communities around the world
In 2007 the World Health Organization (WHO) along with AARP proposed a process for the recognition of communities around the world as Age Friendly Communities. Friends of Newtown Seniors (FONS) has reached out to the town of Newtown in an effort to begin this process of recognition for Newtown. (click here for more)
