“Rosie the Riveter” Presentation

“Rosie the Riveter” became an iconic symbol of working women during World War II. What was it really like for them? Connecticut Museum Educator, Mya Concepcion, will lead us through a multimedia presentation to help us learn the answer. We will look at propaganda posters, art, music, photos, and hear real-life accounts of Connecticut women who worked for victory during the war.
