Plant an Herb Dish Garden to Snazzy-Up Meals Presentation
Grow your own herbs by planting a dish garden to take home. Pots, plants, and soil will be provided, along with guidance on how to care for your little herb garden. Each participant will plant two pots with two plants in each – the perfect size to sit on your steps or patio or outdoor table.
Garden Club of Newtown Vice President Peggy Townsend will talk about the care and cutting of the herbs, and member Andrea Zimmermann will discuss use of the herbs in cooking and provide a handout with simply delicious recipes using the herbs you will plant. Snacks and treats made with herbs will be available for noshing!
