Development could threaten Deep Brook and water bodies downstream. \nDirections: 6 Commerce Road is next to the Catherine Violet Hubbard Sanctuary. Take your first right off of Commerce Road – entrance is a dirt drive on the corner across from the Spectrum building. Follow signs for parking. \nThis family friendly event is sponsored by the Newtown Conservation Commission. The Catherine Violet Hubbard Sanctuary will offer tours\, and members of Candlewood Valley Trout Unlimited will be participating. \nSaturday\, May 3\n10 am – 12 pm.\nRain date is Sunday\, May 4.
