DESCRIPTION:The Newtown Lions Club is having a Model Train Show Event to benefit Childhood Cancer Research onThis event is fun for all ages from 1 to 101. Come see what Model Railroading is all about. Learning clinics for all ages of modelers. Win a Lego Model Railroad along with other door prizes. \nAlso added to this year’s event will be a Halloween Costume Parade during the 2025 Train Show. The parade will be a fun festive event for children ages 12 and under to show off their costumes\, participate in a community celebration\, and have a chance to win prizes! All participants will leave with a goodie bag. Come join us for a great day with a nostalgic look back in time at our railroads with this exciting Model Railroad exhibition. \nSunday\, October 26\n10 am to 2:30 pm\nNewtown Community Center\n8 Simpson St. in Newtown. \nAdmission is $10 for adults\, children – $5\, under 9 are free and families (three or more) – $25.
