DESCRIPTION:3 month series\, meeting twice monthly from August through October.  \nAgeless Grace® is a highly effective brain fitness program based on the science of neuroplasticity. This program is performed in a chair that keeps participants moving and thinking through the power of play\, set to fun music addressing all 21 physical skills and 5 functions of the brain needed for lifelong optimal function. Ageless Grace® is intergenerational\, for all ages and abilities. Develop a healthy habit practicing 10 minutes daily. It’s never too late to begin. DESCRIPTION:This FREE event is focused on the health and wellness of our community\, and we are looking forward to seeing residents come out to this year’s Health Fair. This year organizers are grateful for the opportunity to team up with the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs to offer a variety of veteran-specific services\, in addition to offering free health screenings\, free information and guidance\, and loads of free give-aways. \nThere are numerous free drawings\, gift certificates to many local restaurants\, and promotions from many of our local businesses. \nSome of the activities include: \n\nThe VA will have numerous resources for VA benefits\, services and health care questions. Veterans from any town or state can sign up with the VA.\nCar seat safety check\, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Newtown\nTrusted health partners from the Housatonic Valley Health District will be providing FLU SHOTS — bring your insurance card.\n\nSaturday\, October 18\, from 9 am – 12 pm\nNewtown Community Center\n8 Simpson Street\nNewtown
