DESCRIPTION:On November 4th\, Newtown residents will vote on filling seats on 9 Boards\, Commissions\, and Councils (Town Bodies). To help seniors make informed decisions on who to vote for\, the Senior Center and FONS are holding a series to get you familiar with the roles\, issues\, and candidates. Dan Rosenthal\, former 3-term First Selectman and now First Vice President at Newtown Savings Bank\, will lead the first session which will explain what Town Bodies are chartered to do and some of their issues. Your questions and concerns for specific Town Bodies will be collected and presented to the candidates. Responses will be provided at an October session. \nFor more information\, please call the Senior Center at 203-270-4310.\nFriday\, September 12\, at 10 am at the Senior Center.
