SUMMARY:Friends of the C.H. Booth Library Donation Day
DESCRIPTION:The Friends are hosting a special Donation Day on Sunday\, April 19\, from 1 – 5 pm\, rain or shine\, at our storage building at 17 Old Farm Road in Newtown. Look for the blue building in between the Animal Control Center and the dog park. \nVolunteers will be stationed at the blue building to accept your donations of gently-used books\, jigsaw puzzles\, video games\, and media. They will remove boxed or bagged donations from your vehicle and provide you with a tax receipt if you want one. \nWe are building inventory for our 50th annual book sale this July\, so please donate if you can.

Booth Library on Saturday\, April 25\, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm\, which is designed to connect local nonprofit organizations with residents interested in giving back. \nThe event will provide an opportunity for organizations to showcase their missions and current volunteer needs\, while allowing attendees to explore a variety of ways to get involved in the community. \nOrganizations interested in participating may register for the event through this link. \nThe fair is co-sponsored by C.H. Booth Library\, the Newtown Senior Center\, and Friends of Newtown Seniors. Organizers hope the event will help strengthen community connections and encourage volunteerism among local residents.
